Summer Lunch Special With Allora

Summer is over, darlings! Let’s not let it get us down, though! It can be summer all year long if you want it! Since it is a new year, I thought it was high time to give Gusto (A taste of what’s cooking in Allora’s Kitchen) a revamp! Now every Friday and Saturday for lunch you can have one of my handmade artisan pizzas half priced! Any pizza you want from my menu! Perfect for a relaxing lunch in my courtyard, or maybe just a quick stop? It doesn’t get much better than that, darling!

Pizza Parma Sangria Allora

I love to host a party, and the perfect welcome drink is Sangria! While Sangria is traditionally a beverage of Spanish origin, it is so popular it has become a drink loved all over the world! If you have tried my sangria you will know it is delicious! So to make your next party extra special, I will give you my recipe so you can make it at home! It is so simple and refreshing!

Sangria Allora Cucina

Allora’s Sangria

1L of red wine (any red wine you like will work fine but I like to use something Italian!)

2 cups of orange juice

½ cup of sugar syrup

½  a cinnamon stick

2 cloves

½ a vanilla bean

½ lemon

1 orange

1 apple

The first thing you need is a big jug, jar or punch bowl. Basically a big vessel to hold all the delicious ingredients!

Add the red wine, orange juice and sugar syrup. Stir to combine then add the cinnamon stick, cloves and vanilla. Cut up the lemon, apple and oranges into small pieces and add to the mix then refrigerate for an hour so the fruit and the wine infuse together.

Serve over ice in a glass and don’t forget to include some of that delicious fresh fruit! Perfetto!

Don’t forget to take plenty of photos of your sangria and tag me on Instagram! #allorassangria
